Methodist-Motion
We are pleased to introduce a new initiative called, "Methodist-Motion."
The Methodist Movement began over two hundred years ago...
Methodist-Motion is about laity-helping-laity advance in,
with, and for, today's Methodist Movement... It is about motion - "moving" -
as a disciple in Jesus Christ, as a disciple with John
Wesley and our Methodist brothers and sisters, as a disciple for our
neighbors - the sick, the poor, the needy, the elderly, the dying, the
handicapped, the suffering, the less fortunate, THOSE who cannot do for
themselves.
It is a 'New Initiative in Old Instruction' and is about an awareness of
our history in Methodism, it's roots, it's many subsequent fruits. It is
about discipleship and our daily movement toward our commitments to Jesus
Christ. This is a world-wide Ministry effort and is just the beginning of an
exciting new concept for Methodists everywhere. A website has been
established by the laity in our church and will serve as the catalyst for
our mission.
Log on to
www.methodist-motion.org to find out just what
“Methodist-Motion” is all about. The website will be updated regularly and
will include a monthly series with Pastor Anthony Godlefski speaking to the
world's laity...
Anyone interested in being involved with the 'Methodist-Motion
Laity-Clergy
Committee' is asked to contact Pastor Tony or send an email through the
contact link of the website.
